About Iglubox
Iglubox is a cloud storage and file sharing service: a safe place for your files, and a straightforward way to share them.
What it is
One account, every device
You keep files in folders, preview them, search them and share them with people, teams or anyone with a link. A web app is the starting point; desktop and mobile apps use the same account, the same files and the same permissions, and appear on the download page with their real status.
Under the surface there is one API that every app talks to, and a storage layer that can use a local disk or any S3-compatible object store. Files are encrypted before they are stored, and which storage is used is a decision of the service’s operator, not something an app has to know about.
How we approach it
A few principles, each one visible in the product
Mistakes can be undone
Earlier versions of a file are kept and deleted files wait in the trash, because everybody overwrites or deletes the wrong thing sooner or later.
Limits are stated up front
Plan limits are on the pricing page, and your storage and file size limits are checked before an upload starts, not after hours of waiting.
Security claims you can check
The security page says what is encrypted, how, and what is not covered. We would rather leave a feature out of the text than overstate it.
Questions reach the people who run it
The contact form goes to the team that runs the service, and the help center explains the features in plain language.
